Run a check again
Re-check your app after a fix to confirm the issue is gone.
ON THIS PAGE
After you fix something, run the check again. It's the only way to know the fix worked, and your score updates with the result.
Run it again#
- Open your report from Reports.
- Click Re-scan.
- Wait for the new report to finish. You're taken to it automatically.
Your earlier report is kept, so you can compare the two.
How often you can re-scan#
Free accounts can run one new scan every 24 hours. If you've reached the limit, the Re-scan button is off and the page shows when you can scan again.
You can't start a second scan of the same site while one is already running. The button says Scan in progress until it's done.
Before you re-scan#
- Publish your fix first. A website check sees your live site, so a change that's only in your editor or a preview won't show up.
- Give it a minute. Hosts can take a short while to update. If an issue still shows, wait and try again once the limit allows.
- Fix the biggest problems first. One serious security failure can cap your overall score until it's fixed.
If an issue is still there#
- Open the issue and read the evidence. It shows what we saw on your site.
- Check that your change is live by opening the page yourself in a private window.
- Copy the fix prompt again and ask your AI tool to try once more.
