- LetMeCheck is best for: people who want a security answer from a URL in about a minute, plain-English fixes for their AI tool, USD pricing and the option to hire a developer to fix what is found.
- VibeDoctor is best for: people who want one scanner for security, performance, SEO and uptime, and who like to connect a coding agent so it can read the results.
At a glance
What VibeDoctor is
VibeDoctor is a scanner for apps that an AI agent mostly wrote. You paste a GitHub repository or a website address, and it reports on security, code health and performance.
It gives each scan a score out of 100, lists findings by severity, and offers a prompt you can copy into Cursor or Claude Code. It also has a monitoring product for uptime and performance, and an MCP connection so that agents such as Claude Code can read your results.
On its own site it says it runs 149+ checks across 21 areas. Its pages and third-party listings give slightly different numbers, so treat any single figure as the vendor’s claim and check its checks page yourself.
What LetMeCheck is
LetMeCheck finds security problems in apps built with AI tools and explains each one in plain English. The quick check takes a website address and looks at the live site from the outside, the way an attacker would. It is free, needs no sign-up and changes nothing on your site.
The full check connects to GitHub with read-only access, on the repositories you choose. It looks for secret keys saved in code (including ones deleted since but still in the history), who can read and change each database table, packages with known security holes, and pages that skip the login check.
Each issue comes with a fix prompt for your AI tool. If you want a person to do the work, you can share the report with a vetted developer, get a fixed quote before work starts, and have LetMeCheck re-check afterwards. LetMeCheck helps you find and fix problems. It does not promise an app is secure.
Key differences
How you get your first result
Both tools let you start from a web address or a repository. VibeDoctor’s homepage takes either. It also offers sign-in with GitHub, Google or an emailed code, and a Free Week plan for new accounts.
LetMeCheck’s quick check asks for nothing but a website address. No sign-up and no card. If you only want to know what a stranger can see on your live site, that is the shortest path. We could not tell from VibeDoctor’s pages whether its first scan needs an account.
Breadth versus focus
VibeDoctor covers more ground. For a live site it lists performance, SEO, security headers, exposed files, console errors and broken links, and it has a separate monitoring product for uptime. If you want one tool for all of that, it has the wider menu.
LetMeCheck is focused on security problems that hurt AI-built apps: exposed keys, database rules that leave customer data open, risky packages and missing login checks. VibeDoctor’s checks page does list a check for Firebase and Supabase credentials, but we did not find a database access rule check there (as of November 2026). If that is your main worry, ask both vendors.
Reports and fix prompts
Both aim to be readable. VibeDoctor describes its findings as having a plain-language explanation, with the file and line. LetMeCheck writes each issue as what it means and why it matters, rated Critical, High or Medium.
Both give you a prompt to paste into an AI tool. The honest way to choose is to run both on the same app and read a real report from each. That takes a few minutes, and the quick check is free.
Working with your coding agent
VibeDoctor has a clear lead here. Its MCP connection lets Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code and Codex read your scan results through five read-only tools. If you live inside an agent, that is useful.
LetMeCheck works the other way round. You read the report, copy a fix prompt and paste it into your AI tool, then run the check again to confirm.
Help from a person
LetMeCheck has a hire-a-developer handoff. You share your report with a vetted developer who knows your platform, you get a fixed quote before work starts, and LetMeCheck re-checks the result. See hire a developer.
We did not find a similar service on the VibeDoctor pages we read. That may have changed, so check its site if it matters to you.
Pricing and currency
VibeDoctor’s pricing page lists Indian rupees: a Free Week plan at ₹0, then Watch at ₹499 a month, with Guard and Shield above that. It marks yearly plans as 50% off the first year.
LetMeCheck lists prices in US dollars: a Free plan with unlimited quick checks, Pro at $19 a month and Team at $49 a month, with yearly saving 20%. Check pricing for the current numbers, and check VibeDoctor’s page for its latest ones.

Where LetMeCheck is the better choice
- You want a security answer from a URL alone, with no sign-up.
- You want US dollar pricing and a Free plan with unlimited quick checks.
- You want the full check to look at who can read and change each database table.

Can you use both?
Yes, and for a new app it can be worth doing. Run the LetMeCheck quick check and a VibeDoctor scan on the same live site and compare what each finds. If both flag the same issue, fix that first.
There is no conflict in having both read-only connections. Keep the one you find easier to act on.
