How we approach comparisons
We make LetMeCheck, so we are not a neutral judge. We try to make up for that by being specific and showing our sources.
LetMeCheck checks apps built with AI tools such as Lovable, Bolt, Replit, Cursor and Claude Code, and explains the results in plain English, including terms like exposed keys and open database rules. Plenty of other tools are excellent at other jobs. Some are better than us for a development team with a build pipeline. We say so on the page when that is true.
Every comparison names who it is for. We never write “better” without saying better for whom.

How we compare
- Competitor facts (features, languages, pricing, free tiers) come from the competitor’s own website or documentation, and each one links to its source.
- Each page carries a “last verified” date. Facts are stated “as of” that month, because tools change.
- When a competitor’s own pages disagree with each other, we use their site and avoid stating the disputed detail as settled.
- We include what the other tool does better, not only what we do better.
- Where we could not find something, we say we did not find it. We do not say it does not exist.
Spotted something out of date or unfair? Tell us and we will check it and fix the page.
Frequently asked questions
Why does LetMeCheck publish comparisons?
People searching for a security tool often face a long list of names. We want to help you tell which tool fits how you build, even when the answer is not us.
Are these comparisons neutral?
No. We make LetMeCheck. We source competitor facts from their own sites, date them, link them, and list where the other tool is the better choice.
How often are the comparisons updated?
Each page shows the month its facts were last verified. If a vendor changes its pricing or features, the page may be out of date until we recheck it.
Can I use LetMeCheck alongside the tools you compare?
Often, yes. A pipeline tool and a URL-first check answer different questions. Each comparison has a section on whether you can use both.
